Surabaya – Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd. has been arwarded of the Green PROPER award for its contribution to environmental conservation. The presentation of the Green PROPER certificate was handed over directly by the Head of DLH Jempin Marbun, SH, MH and received by the Vice President of SCM Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd. Darmawan Widhihatmoko at the Proper and Environmental Heritage Award Presentation Ceremony at the Harris Hotel Surabaya on Thursday (15/2/2024).
Proper is a program with the purpose of encouraging the business to improve environmental management performance and continue to develop and improve on an ongoing basis, including through the development of science and scientific developments.
“This is such a proud moment for KEI, which proves that KEI is able to fulfill the compliance requirements in achieving Green PROPER. And it will become a reference for us in order to continue in developing sustainability aspects for environmental management, especially in our operational activities,” said Darmawan Widhihatmoko.
